DEATHLOOP is a next-generation first-person shooter developed by Arkane Lyon, the award-winning creator of Dishonored. Two rival assassins are caught in a time loop on the mysterious island of Blackreef, doomed to repeat the same day over and over again. To escape, Colt's only hope is to take down eight key targets before the day resets. He learns with each cycle, try new routes, get information and get more weapons and abilities. Anything to break the loop.
IF YOU DON'T GET IT THE FIRST TIME... DIE, DIE AGAIN
Each loop will give you a chance to try new things. Use the information you've gained from previous attempts to tailor your playstyle and decide whether you'd rather sneak from level to level or throw yourself into combat head-on. In each cycle you will discover new secrets and information about your objectives and about the island of Blackreef, and you will also be able to expand your arsenal. With the help of a wide repertoire of supernatural abilities and destructive weapons, you will have to use all the tools at your disposal to pull off deadly and dramatic finishers. Customize your loadout and manage to survive this deadly dance between hunter and prey.
THE CLASSIC SINGLE PLAYER EXPERIENCE WITH A DEADLY MULTIPLAYER SIDE
Hero or villain? Experience the main story as Colt, who must hunt down various targets around Blackreef Island in order to break the loop and gain freedom. Meanwhile, Julianna, your rival, will be on your heels at all times, with the possibility of being handled by another player. But if you feel like unleashing your inner evil, you too can step into the role of the assassin and infiltrate another player's game to take down Colt. The multiplayer experience is entirely optional, and you can even set the game's AI to control Julianna.
Blackreef Island – Paradise OR Prison
Route-filled art worlds and immersive gameplay are one of the keys to Arkane's reputation. DEATHLOOP features an eerie '60s-inspired retro-futuristic setting that feels like just another character from the vast cast. And while Blackreef is a stylized island of wonders, Colt considers it his prison: a world where decay rules, where death means nothing and where criminals go from party to party with no escape. .
