IXION combines city building, survival and exploration elements in an exciting space opera where you will explore the stars. You will be the administrator of the Tiqqun space station, and on your perilous journey you will be in charge of finding a new home for humanity after the Earth is no longer habitable.
But to keep the station healthy and flying, you'll need skill and strategic thinking, as you'll be constantly striving to preserve hull integrity, gain new resources, and manage power consumption, all at the same time.
What choices will you make when faced with impending disaster? What will you discover in the infinite darkness?
You will have to manage a population in which not all are volunteer crew, not all have been there since the initial takeoff, some have just come out of cryogenesis... Keep trust in the corporation that started this venture or face failure and to the riot You will be able to unlock six sectors within the station, each of which can house more people, allow for new jobs, and offer opportunities to monitor the crew with the Data Listening Service. Will you be able to bring hope to your people?
Who said that you were the only ones who had managed to escape the fate of Earth? Compete with other pockets of survivors, navigate taking advantage of the failures and remains of other ships... IXION takes the player through an engaging story, in which new threats and opportunities appear that will have to be dealt with to reach the final destination: a new home.
DOLOS is famous for its innovative technology and scientists, but the Tiqqun has now been isolated. Gather the resources you can, research to get what you lack. Find new ways to support your population, build new buildings to create whatever you need. Modify the Tiqqun station, improve it and advance in this odyssey.
Space is a dangerous place. Hull breaches, overloaded power supplies, electrical fires... you'll need to take charge of managing these risks, dealing with emergencies, creating backup power solutions, and enabling extravehicular activity...
There are all-new star maps to explore. Send probes to explore the occult, create mining and cargo ships to find resources and trade, dispatch scientific expeditions to discover the secrets and threats in space. Find other survivors and add them to your mission. The goal: survive.
