NEW SCOUT SYSTEM
A good sporting director needs to know how to recruit future talent, which is why we've created a new scouting system. You will have to send your scouts to different regions to discover the best talent. Your scouts become more effective and improve over time. They will regularly send you information (about potential, features, etc.) that you will use to make decisions (observation, integration in the development team, etc.) and learn more about the brokers. Naturally, you'll be in direct competition with the other teams.
NEW GENERATION OF RUNNERS
This new system is based on the level and potential of young cyclists, using a 6-star rating system. Now the young riders that are created are juniors from 16 to 18 years of age, with a pool made up of 1,500 to 2,000 young cyclists each year (3 times more than before). These new riders will be more versatile and will develop similarly to current stars.
DEVELOPMENT OF CORRIDORS
As with young talent, we want to have more versatile riders, so we've redesigned the development system to take this into account. It is also crucial that the runners integrate perfectly into the team, establishing a good relationship with the coach, or they will not progress optimally.
MORE VARIED RACES
In Pro Cycling Manager 2022, thanks to a more varied peloton, you will experience different situations than the usual type of a Tour stage, for example. You can find yourself in an action-packed race from the start, with the favorites taking the lead and several attacks from the first hour.
OTHER IMPROVEMENTS
The interface has been redesigned, with a complete revamp of the riders page, which now includes new stats, featured abilities and rider results, and the addition of an interface that compares rider characteristics.
Stamina and endurance values have a greater effect on effort management during a race. This allows some runners to attack multiple times or better manage their efforts late in the race.
The shape of the day is now closer to the tentatively announced shape.To allow extensive customization, 2 parameters can now be adjusted: the extra amplitude (+5 to -5 or completely off) and the variation on or off
The simulation time has been optimized and is now twice as fast as before.
You can now have specific team jerseys for a given race
