Remnant II is the sequel to the best-selling game Remnant: From the Ashes pitting the survivors of humanity against deadly new creatures and godlike bosses in terrifying worlds. Play on your own or cooperate with two friends to explore the depths of the unknown and prevent evil from destroying reality itself. To achieve this, players must rely on their own abilities and those of their team to overcome the most difficult challenges and prevent the extinction of humanity.
A mix of methodical and frenzied combat both from a distance and melee returns with cunning enemies and large-scale boss battles. Choose specific weapons and equipment that are optimal for the different biomes and battles that await you. High level players will need to join forces against the bosses to overcome the challenge and try to get the biggest rewards.
Players can travel alone or as a team with their friends through new worlds, invaded by mythical creatures and deadly enemies, while trying to stay alive. There are several worlds to explore with different types of creatures, weapons, and items. Use and upgrade discovered items to help you tackle more difficult challenges.
Branching quests, power-ups, crafting, and loot will test the resolve of even the most experienced players in dynamically generated dungeons and zones. Matches will prove challenging, varied and rewarding as players triumph in unforgiving situations. Various stories are woven throughout the different worlds, encouraging exploration and multiple returns.
The expanded archetype system provides players with unique passive bonuses and awesome powers. Various archetypes can be unlocked throughout the game, as well as leveled up and equipped together for various playstyles.
