Based on the popular original 2015 game, Sheltered 2 offers new challenges and more complex strategic gameplay. Your job is to create a leader and strengthen your faction while managing resources and dealing with threats (both natural and human). Whether it's dehydration, radiation, or enemy looting, anything can kill you.
Sheltered 2's new faction system is crucial to the success of a base. Send expeditions to explore the vast wasteland and forge alliances (or irreconcilable rivalries) with other camps. Trade resources for everyone to thrive and progress, or take on rivals in an expanded combat system and secure your footing in the wasteland. Will you ally with the other factions or dominate them?
Factions: New to Sheltered 2, the faction system allows you to form relationships with others groups that will offer resources and support to your base. You can also take up arms and get things the old-fashioned way.
Resource Management: Balance the needs and wants of your survivors, manage scarce resources, craft what you need, and take care of the shelter equipment to keep the group alive.
Permadeath: your leader, another new addition to Sheltered 2 , is the most important member of the shelter. If he dies, it's game over. Hunger, suffocation, extreme temperatures, and combat are just a few of the challenges you'll face in Sheltered 2's unforgiving wasteland, and without the ability to respawn, every decision could be deadly.
Combat and Weapons: When negotiations fail, make use of a wide variety of improvised weapons against hostile outsiders. Fight to the death in turn-based combat to gain the crucial resources you need to survive.
Characters: Your survivors have their own personalities, traits, desires, and enormous list of skills they can learn. Customize them to your liking and make your faction members unique and one-of-a-kind.
Vehicles: Find and repair more vehicles with which to explore the wasteland, from bikes to vans.
