The once prosperous kingdom of Hermes has plunged into an age of calamity.

Alchemy, which seemed to be the answer to all the realm's woes, began to be used throughout the lands. The inhabitants received it with open arms in their homes and used it to improve and cure at will. When the price of alchemy became too high, there were attempts to stop its use and each failed more miserably than the last. The catastrophic consequences took their toll on the entire kingdom. Within a few days, it succumbed to chaos and infected monsters stalked the blood-soaked streets. All hope of finding a cure was lost.

Corvus is the kingdom's last hope: the fate of Hermes rests in his feathered hands. The truth remains buried in the memories that Corvus spread across the ruthless world. He can only save the kingdom if he recovers his lost memories, but every time he dives back into them in an attempt to piece together the truth, he only finds more secrets.
