Humanity turned the Earth into a wasteland and perished, but other species survived and evolved. Choose one of the beaver factions and see how far your colony can go!
Control one of two beaver factions: the nature-loving Scalytails Tribe, or the industrial Iron Teeth. Each faction has a unique style, buildings, and abilities. Choose the one that best suits your style of play!
Wet seasons and dry seasons
Prepare your settlement for cyclical droughts. Store food and keep forests and crops alive during the period when even the rivers dry up. Use natural water sources and artificial irrigation to keep the land arable.
The beavers of the future have thousands of years of experience in hydraulic engineering. Build dams and locks, create canals using explosives, and redirect river courses to bring this wasteland back to life. Just remember to watch out for explosions.
Turn firewood into sophisticated machines: from water mills and sawmills to engines and grinders. Wood is the base resource in Timberborn, but more advanced structures require metal. To find it, send your scavengers to the ruins of the old world.
Create a durable beaver settlement using a vertical architecture system. Space is not infinite, so you will have to place workshops and homes on top of each other; build platforms and bridges; and power your growing population.
Day and night cycle
Build a city with various districts, efficient production chains, and nightlife activities. Follow the daily life of each of the inhabitants during their journey and celebrate with them the birth of a new generation.
The way of life of these evolved beavers is not just "eat, sleep, gnaw wood and repeat". In addition to keeping your colony afloat, you'll need to meet your rodents' needs with a balanced diet, decorations, monuments, and more.
Play on one of the pre-made maps, or create your own and share them with the community! Each map has its own challenges: hills of different altitudes, ruins in the middle of the desert, and in all of them access to water will be crucial for survival.
