Seated on his palanquin throne, Mazdamundi, the Slann Mage-Priest, leads the warhosts of the Lizardmen north from Lustria. He too hopes to avert the cataclysm, though the ways of the Old Ones must prevail.
For his part, the Witch-king Malekith and his sadistic hordes of Dark Elves have departed from Naggaroth and his labyrinthine Arks. Black. He senses the great weakness of the vortex, whose disappearance would provide them with a great opportunity.
For their part, the Skaven, led by Queek the Head Collector, scramble in their fetid, subterranean tunnels. There, they multiply at will and watch the surface with great anxiety and unclear motives. The moment of revelation draws near...
Four races, four outcomes, one goal: to control the Great Vortex for better or worse.
